Acting is something incredibly complex. Even someone who has no previous experience with acting is able to distinguise good from bad acting. Do we believe what we see? What is the secret of acting and how can you apply this to portray a memorable character? Preparation, empathy, direction, script, dialogue, technique and projection, all these elements can make or break an acting performance. Actor Waldemar Torenstra and director Danyael Sugawara will speak about this from their own experience and they will create room to try out some things for yourself. They will use this masterclass as a platform to investigate the art of acting and to share their knowledge. There is room for five young and upcoming actors, and the masterclass is open to the public. For 25 years TEAM Facilities has been providing facilities for recording, broadcasting and post production for television and video productions. Both organizations have gained a lot of knowledge and expertise through many years of experience, so the idea arose to join forces and create a workshop.
