Go Short 2021 takes a hybrid form, with a program that extends over a longer period. The first part is already over: Go Short Online, an event lasting 2.5 weeks. Go Short Online consisted of a variety of programming: an on demand platform, Go Short Live, numerous Industry activities, Go Short to Go – VR Experience at Home, the award show and the online party Club Short. This was Go Short Online!
Go Short On Demand
This year we presented Go Short On Demand with more than 140 films, of which 87 in competition. With the competition films and the Go Short Awards, we are the springboard to renowned film awards such as the Oscars, European Film Awards and Baftas. We also offered films of Croatia, Family Shorts, Comedy Shorts, International Highlights and much more! Want to have a look at the on demand platform? You can still see which films were available on the platform here.
Go Short Live
In three full-length programs we spoke with makers, watched films of our competition programs, chatted with those involved at the festival bar and held a Watch Party with you at home! You can watch the interviews of Go Short Live here. Some of the interviews were held in Dutch.
Every year Go Short is a meeting place for makers and professionals. Also this year we organized various activities for professionals and created a virtual festival space where you could talk to filmmakers and other professionals.
Go Short to Go – VR Experience at Home
VR in your living room? This was possible in recent weeks with Go Short to Go – VR Experience at Home. Keep an eye on this page for a reopening.
