A spotlight on Hungarian film talent

From exciting animation to shortfilm classics: Go Short 2019 focuses on Hungarian film talent.

Hungary has a rich film history and is known today as an innovative and acclaimed film country, with several international successes, including the recent Oscarwinning short film Mindenki by Kristóf Deák. With three programs, Go Short dives into the present and the past of the Hungarian film culture. With the support of the Embassy of Hungary in the Netherlands, many Hungarian filmmakers will attend the festival in April to talk about their film. They are also given the opportunity to make new connections with Dutch and international film professionals.

An award winning Hungarian filmmaker is Réka Bucsi. Her latest film Solar Walk, selected for Go Short’s European Competition in 2018, gives a little preview of what Hungary has to offer in the world of film. Soon we will announce more about talented Hungarian artists and their films. Of course you will be able to see the full program at Go Short 2019.
