Go Short joins Summer Festival Museum Arnhem

Let’s celebrate summer one last time, shall we? That’s right, Go Short will set up yet another open air cinema! Just before summer ends, we will join Museum Arnhem’s Summer Festival at 3 September.

What are we going to do? During one of the last summer evenings, you’ll be entertained by a selection of films made by Sil van der Woerd. This program starts at 7:45 p.m. in a marvellous tent in the garden of Museum Arnhem. Free entry.

Sil van der Woerd

The films we show will all be made by Van der Woerd, a filmmaker from Arnhem who won the award for Best Fiction Film last year during Go Short Arnhem 2021. His work characterizes by telling stories about ecological and humanitarian subjects.

In his films and music videos, he uses extraordinary ideas, exotic locations and stunning cinematography. His latest work is based on deforestation, overconsumption, global warming and plastic soup. The film titles that we’ll screen at the Summer Festival will be annouced at a later point in time.

What is the Summer Festival?

The Summer Festival Museum Arnhem is a two-day festival in the garden. Here, you’ll find acts such as a coffee concert by Nynke Laverman, Spoken Word, a solo theater about Shakespeare in quarantaine and many more acts, food & fun.
