We present: the VR-competition!
Twelve 360° VR- films are in the running for the Go Short VR Award during Go Short 2020. VR-films have been an audience favorite for many years and once more they are part of the heart of the festival: the competition. These films have a chance of winning the Audience Award for Best VR Film.
Since the first edition Go Short has been focusing on experimental and innovative films. Go Short looks at virtual reality as an important narrative form within the short film world. Twelve films are selected for the VR competition and stand a chance of winning the Go Short VR Award. The audience chooses the winner! The films are divided into four programs: ‘Crossing Borders’, ‘Reclaim Your Space’, ‘Catching Reality’ and ‘Welcome Home’. In these programs, you can see all kinds of different VR-productions: animation, documentary, art film and music video.
