Moving forward together: the potential of short films in times of crisis.
It’s time to put Go Short in your agenda if you haven’t done so already, because we’re coming in hot: from 31 March until 10 April, the biggest short film festival of the Netherlands, will go wild! And this year is extra special, with our 15th(!) anniversary edition.
During the festival, we will screen the best, most urgent and beautiful shorts that were released last year. At the Professionals Program, filmmakers and other film professionals can meet each other in an accessible way to share their own experiences and to learn from experts. The perfect place to get inspired, get answers to practical questions, add companions to your group of film friends and to enlarge your professional network. We also organize a dynamic program for film professionals from the Netherlands and from abroad.
What’s on the agenda?
The Professional Program takes place from 5 April until 9 April and is a lively, international melting pot where the most experienced professionals and starting-out, enthusiastic newcomers can meet each other. There are many different activities during the Professionals Program: from networking events to workshops, and from parties to market screenings. During these activities, the newest developments in the industry are addressed and big themes are made more legible.
Moving forward together: the potential of short films in times of crisis.
Short films reflect on current affairs and are urgent, often uncompromizing. We offer well over 300 shorts and miscellaneous prgograms to grant you a broad perspective on the present, as well as the future. Shorts offer perspective and give you the opportunity to reflect on the space you take up in the world. Together with other makers and professionals, we’ll come together, address the power of shorts and pre-sort on potential ways to tackle the challenges of today.
