GELDERLAND FILM MEETING (IN DUTCH)
13.30 – 16.00 | The Mariënburg Chapel
As a starting filmmaker, you often have to deal with (too) little budget and the way to (film) funds is sometimes hard to find. Do you need funds, broadcasters or investors to complete the budget of your film? Producer Loes Komen, Room for Film, will discuss various funding options based on specific projects. What does the world of film financing entail? She will show that through a combination of ambition, smart partnerships and creative concept development, a great film with a small budget can be made. In addition, Moniek Klabbers (Culture Scout of De Groeispurt – a subsidy scheme for young makers, artists and performers in Nijmegen) will talk about what their fund can mean for regional makers. Finally, we will end the GFM with drinks. More information can be found here.
