Submissions for Go Short 2018 are now open.
The 10th edition of Go Short – International Short Film Festival Nijmegen takes place from 11 till 15th of April 2018 in Nijmegen, the Netherlands.
Submission is done easy and online through our Filmchief portal. Our entry fee is €6.50 per entry. Distributors, film institutions and schools can get a discount for multiple submissions. To be considered, please get in touch with Wouter Jansen at email@example.com.

Films are eligible if
- no longer than 30 minutes
- produced in (geographical) Europe
- no dialogue, English dialogue or English subtitles
- finished after 1 December 2016
- 1 September 2017 (completed between 1 December 2016 and 31 May 2017)
- 25 November 2017 (completed on or after 1 June 2017)
- 22 December 2017 (completed in November or December 2017 or work in progress)
The European Competition will consist of short films from all genres, that have been made in (geographical) Europe. The films are eligible for the Go Short Award for Best European Short in four categories: fiction, animation, documentary and art film. These films will also be competing for the Audience Award.
The Dutch Competition is a selection of films from all genres, made in the Netherlands. The best film will be awarded with the Go Short Award for Best Dutch Short. These films will also be competing for the Audience Award.
The Student Competition will consist of short films from all genres, made in European film schools. The best film will be awarded with an Encouragement Award. All films will also be competing for the Audience Award.
From the other competition programs a selection of films will be made to form the Youth Competition. These films are eligible for the Youth Award.
