Euro Connection 2020
Euro Connection is the European Short Film Co-production Forum taking place at the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Market. This business platform aims at fostering partnerships between European production companies, funders and broadcasters for short film projects. Go Short – International Short Film Festival Nijmegen and Internationaal Kortfilmfestival Leuven are gatekeeper for Euro Connection. Together we preselect the projects from Flanders and the Netherlands. Sending in your project is possible from 2 September!
Requirements:
– short film projects – animation, fiction, creative documentary, or short VR project
– under 40 minutes max
– project must have partial funding secured from a third party source (development, script, or production funding)
– producer aims at working with an international coproduction partner
– shooting dates should be no earlier than June 2020
Invited producers receive:
– travel grant; accommodation and meals (4 days)
– accreditation to the International Short Film Market
– pitch training workshop
– chance to pitch the project to a room of potential coproduction partners
– one-on-one meetings with interested parties
– networking facilities
