My Grandmother's Skirt

Jos Mauro, a Dutch-Ecuadorian who grew up unaware of World War II's impact in his family, explores his grandmother's story behind a liberation skirt she kept for 73 years. Through archives and family talks, he dives into her wartime experiences and reflects on his own connection to this history, his unexamined freedom, and how the echoes of war continue to shape lives today.
