When Cyclone Chido hit Mayotte, I was finalizing the pre-production of a very personal short film. The storm destroyed my neighborhood, Mandzarsoa, tearing off my roof before my very eyes. Cut off from the world, without water or electricity, we had to survive on our own. From the very first day, the residents rebuilt their shelters, driven by an immediate sense of solidarity.
