From day to night, Otello, a construction worker and former tailor, moves between a sprawling Parisian construction site and a rundown nightclub on the brink of bankruptcy. There, he finds solace alongside his friend Bernardino Femminielli, a decadent entertainer whose talents shine in subversive variety acts. Otello would give anything to see his friend dazzle in this rotting paradise known as EL.
