Education

Go Short is the international short film festival in Nijmegen, dedicated entirely to short film. Especially for schools, Go Short offers inspiring educational programmes that introduce students to this unique film genre in an accessible and engaging way.

During a school screening, students watch a selection of short films (ranging from 2 to 30 minutes) on the big screen. These films explore current and social themes, encouraging reflection and discussion. After the screening, there is an interactive Q&A with a filmmaker, moderated by an experienced Go Short host – giving students the opportunity to ask questions and gain new insights.

To prepare for the cinema visit, schools receive educational materials that allow students to actively engage with the themes and film styles they will encounter.
