Head of Program

Temporary position to cover maternity leave

Are you passionate about short films, with a sharp eye for both content and organisation? Do you understand the power of this medium and get excited by the prospect of helping deliver the programme for Go Short – International Short Film Festival Nijmegen? Are you able to effortlessly keep track of your schedule and budget? And can you guide your team with enthusiasm and calm, even in the hectic atmosphere of a festival? Then this could be the opportunity for you! To cover for a colleague during her maternity and parental leave, we are temporarily looking for a Head of Programme (0.7 FTE). In this role, you will have a varied, dynamic and central position within the organisation. You will be responsible for the programme department, which is responsible for putting together the festival programme. Where needed, you will curate programmes, ensure that all film rights are secured, organise more than 100 screenings, and monitor the schedule and budget.

Go Short, international short film festival, is preparing for a new edition and is looking for a new industry producer.

Go Short – International Short Film Festival has been the largest and most vibrant short film festival in the Netherlands for over 18 years. For five days, audiences enjoy the very best that short film has to offer in and around LUX Nijmegen. Go Short is among the leading festivals on the international short film circuit and offers filmmakers a pathway to the Oscars, BAFTAs and European Film Awards. Every spring,  500 film professionals from across Europe come to Nijmegen to expand their networks and knowledge. The 19th edition of Go Short will take place from 6 to 11 April 2027.

Hospitality coordinator

Are you outgoing and do you have experience in hospitality or organizing events? Do you enjoy taking care of every detail and would you like to expand your professional network? Do you have a good command of both English and Dutch, and would you like to work for a film festival? Then read on! Go Short, international short film festival, is preparing for a new edition and is looking for an enthusiastic hospitality coordinator.
