European Audience Favorites 1

The European Competition program features 42 of the best films by filmmakers from across Europe, produced in the past year. The selected films are eligible for Best European Short in the fiction, documentary, and animation categories. The films of the European Competition are divided into 11 film blocks, put together based on overlapping themes. The winners in the fiction, documentary, and animation categories will qualify for the Oscars.
