Go Short proudly presents the jurymembers for the Gelderland Film Pitch. 

Gelderland Film Pitch 2026
Gelderland Film Pitch is a pitching platform and production trajectory stimulating short film culture in the region. Selected filmmakers will pitch their film plans to a jury of three and the industry audience. The pitch winners will receive the main prize of €3,000 production grant and additional in-kind awards sponsored by the pitch partners: OostPact and Beeld en Geluid.

Bram Ruiter By Devan Scott

Bram Ruiter

Bram Ruiter is a filmmaker from Zwolle, the Netherlands. With his films, he experiments with form and explores creativity and community, usually by utilizing obsolete formats and lost media. Also, he works as a projectdeveloper at OostPact and has taught at Deltion College, ArtEZ University of the Arts and Emerson College. Some of his films are distributed by Collectif Jeune Cinema. 

Pelle Nijburg

(1994, Netherlands) studied Audiovisual Media at Utrecht of the Arts University and completed her master’s degree Lens-based Media at the Piet Zwart Institute in Rotterdam. During her master's graduation year, she made the film installation Carnation (2023) which explores the relationship between a caregiver and a care receiver. The film received a positive review in art-magazine Metropolis M. Continuing her exploration of human legacy in everyday life alongside a fascination with archival material, she developed the short film No Way Forward (2025). By reusing archival footage and experimenting with time and scale, the film constructs a disturbing and absurd reality. The film has been exhibited in galleries across the Netherlands and screened at Go Short Film Festival in Nijmegen and Uppsala Short Film Festival in Sweden.

Maike Pijnappel

Maike graduated as a teaching theatre-maker from HKU in 2018. Since then, she has directed various amateur theatre groups from Nijmegen to Utrecht. Alongside her creative practice, Maike has continued studying to develop more in-depth expertise. She completed a degree in Philosophy at Utrecht University and later a master's in Arts Policy and Arts Management at Radboud University Nijmegen. She is looking forward to strengthening the Cultuur Academy team as fund coordinator and dedicating herself to (emerging) makers in Arnhem and Nijmegen.
