You might have the best story in mind, but how do you put your ideas to paper?  A strong film plan is not only essential for fundraising, but also a great tool for effective collaboration between screenwriters, directors, and the rest of the crew. What are the elements of a good film plan? How do you convey your message to ensure that people understand your artistic (and financial) vision?  For this edition of Gelderland Film Meeting, writer and director Vincent Tilanus and freelance script coach Robil Rahantoeknam will share their insights on how to write a film plan.Using his creative motto everything beautiful starts out ugly Vincent will guide us through the writing process step by step, using his own successful practice as a starting point. In the second part of the afternoon, together with former Netherlands Film Fund expert Robil Rahantoeknam, we will discuss different strategies for writing film plans. The interactive set up of the session will allow the participants to ask questions about their own projects. In the evening, the industry team of Go Short will be there to share more info on the festival’s opportunities for work-in-progress films.

The session will be held in Dutch.
