Unique films at
unique locations

Go Short pops up in unexpected places all year round: from a rooftop over the city to a shopping street transformed into an open-air cinema. Our mobile projectors, inflatable screens, and lighting systems transform any location into a cinema. This way, we literally bring short stories to the audience.

Do you have an idea for a unique collaborative space? Let us know! We'd love to help you think about the technology, programming, and audience development. Together, we'll show that film can be everywhere and for everyone.

So what does that look like?

A few upcoming and recent pop-ups demonstrate just how versatile our mobile cinema can be. In August, the parking deck above Focus Filmtheater in Arnhem will transform into a rooftop cinema complete with lounge chairs and headphones. Under the summer sky, we'll screen a handful of crowd-pleasers, including the Swiss animation Long Distance and the pop musical Diep in de Nacht (Deep in the Night). And during Kunstnacht Nijmegen, the Festivalhuis transforms into a cultural "red-light district": together with InScience, Music Meeting, and Wintertuin, we'll showcase a continuous program of eroticism and love behind illuminated windows: from short films and live music to literary readings. Window shopping has never been so much fun.

And let's not forget Off the Walls, a film walk that can be organized in every city. During Off the Walls, walls and objects transform into movie screens after sunset. Visitors walk along a route of short films that shed new light on a neighborhood.
